Sky is aiming to attract up to 200,000 subscribers to its 3D service by June 2011, reports Media Week.
But the projection given by Media Week’s unnamed source is wide – the company has apparently set a minimum target of 50,000 subscribers, revealing just how uncertain the broadcaster is of 3D’s success.
A media campaign for the new channel launched on 18 September, and includes television, online and digital outdoors advertising to push the feature.
