News International to be put under review

News International is to be subjected to a three year internal review which will put every division of the company under scrutiny.

The review, which will run under the slogan ‘changing the game’, will affect the editorial, advertising and marketing departments of the company, as it looks to redefine its print-based business model.

The newly appointed ‘transformation director’, Sandra Tinker will take a key role in the review, which the Guardian claims will “consider cost-cutting exercises” in her mission to find ‘efficiencies across the sales operations’.

The biggest concern lies with staff on the Times, which may be subject to redundancies if Media Week‘s report is to be believed.
