Journo called ‘paedo’ by French president

Nicolas Sarkozy called a journalist a “paedophile” in response to being to questioned over the ‘Karachigate’ scandal.

“You are a paedophile, I’m deeply convinced,” Sarkozy told a reporter after being quizzed on his role in a series of events that alledgedly led to a bombing in Karachi, killing 15.
Aides have reportedly pressured staff at the summit he was talking at to erase any recording of the outburst, in case it turns up on the internet.
