Daily Star in ‘Raoul Moat’ video game payout

The Daily Star has paid “substantial damages” to the company behind the Grand Theft Auto videogames, after publishing a story claiming a version based on the events surrounding the hunt for Raoul Moat was being made.

The paper failed to contact Rockstar Games before publishing details on the made up Grand Theft Auto: Rothbury.
