Daily Mail gets online ads boost

The Daily Mail has bucked the trend afflicting the majority of newspaper websites by posting a 46 per cent increase in digital advertising.

According to the Mail’s owner, Daily Mail & General Trust, ad revenues have increased 13 per cent year-on-year in the past three months. DMGT’s regional newspaper operations posted less encouraging numbers, seeing a total revenue fall of four per cent, to £66 million.
