C4 cuts senior roles

Channel controllers are being scrapped by Channel 4 in an effort to protect profitability.
More4’s Hamish Mykura and E4’s Angela Jain will be most affected, reports MediaGuardian, although C4 is keen to retain Jain’s services in a more expanded role. Mykura will remain head of documentaries.

C4 has posted positive advertising results as of late, with double-digit year-on-year increases every month in 2010 so far.
